56% of americans disapprove of the US president

Americans’ approval of President Joe Biden’s job performance has edged down three percentage points to 38%, just one point shy of his all-time low and well below the 50% threshold that has typically led to reelection for incumbents.

In addition, Biden registers subpar approval ratings for his handling of five key issues facing the U.S., including a new low of 28% for immigration and readings ranging from 30% to 40% for the situation in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas, foreign affairs, the economy and the situation in Ukraine.

Situation in Ukraine - Fail
The economy - Fail
Foreign affairs - Fail
The situation in the Middle East between the Israelis and Palestinians - Fail
Immigration - Fail

Biden’s approval rating has not risen above 44% since August 2021, and his 39.8% average rating for his third year in office was the second worst among post-World War II presidents elected to their first term.

Pretty impressive given the majority of mainstream media only talks about his positives.

I like how they're citing the approval rating but not the actual Biden vs Trump polls.

Why? Because Biden has been gaining in those polls recently. Significant progress.

Trump is just that unpopular. Lost to this person his base is calling the worst and most disapproved president who can't even speak. By 7 million! LOL

And do not forget that the USA is now fully reliant on foreign countries for food and manufacturing. So include that in the fail list.
Simultaneously wants to take on China, while being reliant on China for manufacturing, especially for the push in the EV industry.

Led western sanctions against Russia, but everyone is still buying Russian oil through loopholes and intermediaries.

Asked for peace in the Israel-Hamas conflict, but only after weeks of global backlash after ceasefires were repeatedly veto'd. Tried to send aid packages to Gaza, ends up crushing 5 people to death with aforementioned packages.

Biden directly admits that the Inflation Reduction Act which aimed to reduce inflation THROUGH SPENDING, failed to reduce inflation.

National debt is rising by 1 trillion every 100 days. Projected 1.5 trillion budget deficit in 2024.
Still sends hundreds of billions to other countries.

Democratic party cried about kids in cages during the previous administration. Yet does nothing with the border crisis which accelerated under Biden.

Beyond embarrassing. At this point I'm convinced chatGPT would be more suitable for leadership.

I mean, wouldn't Ukraine and the Middle East be included under Foreign Affairs? Or is that for "everything else"?

Anyway, if you know anything about POTUS elections, then you would know a candidate doesn't even need a majority of the country to vote for him to win.

This is true. If Republicans actually had a popular candidate themselves, they could make fun of Biden's approval ratings without seeming like huge hypocrites.

Their own guy lost to him by over 7 million votes.

Biden won't be in office much longer anyway.

Eh? Which polls are you checking? I'm looking at C.N.N's. latest poll just released yesterday and Trump's leading 49 to 43%[www.cnn.com], which is the same result as C.N.N's. January poll, so Trump is holding a steady lead.

Moreover, looking at their approval ratings, 55% of U.S. Citizens see Trump's presidency of a success, which is lipped from 2021 when 55% of U.S. Citizens saw it as a failure. Right now 61% of Americans see Biden's presidency as a failure, and this is worsened from the 57% of people who saw his first year as a failure. So, at least going by your own logic, it looks like Biden's so bad at it that he even makes Trump look good by means of comparison. >_>...

You're citing one poll. I could also cite Marist College where Biden had 5% lead to Donald Trump.

Now, if you're taking the average of all polls, which is the most honest way to do it, it's about fifty-fifty.

Trump has no "lead".

probably surveyed towards chosen few. it doesn't mean anything in a significant way.
