"I ain't reading all that"
I really don't get what's the point of saying that tbh

The more words it takes to explain something, the less likely the explanation is true.
I think people's reasons for saying it will vary. I'll sometimes point out that I didn't read all of a post just in case I raise a point that the OP already covered just so they understand I may have missed it in advance.

Other times, people make loooooong threads that you could literally just condense down into two sentences, and it's hard to not call people out for that.

IDK about that one.
It's a power move in written form.

Pretty good point.

At the very least, it shows a lot about the writer's ability to communicate effectively.
It's called "mockery" OP.

Maybe it's a polite hint to the OP of the post to suggest the same as the 'Too long didn't read' thingy.

This could be asking for a shorter version or to suggest adding some paragraphs.

Odds are they did read all of it, but don't like it, so they want you to make you feel as if you wasted your time.
Because there’s no tldr at the bottom
The point is to remind people to take remedial writing classes so they learn to keep things short and snappy. What good is intelligence if you cannot communicate it effectively or efficiently?
I rarely read long drawn out posts as I think no one is important enough to think anyone should read it. I get bored and at best skim-read it.

I'd say this is fairly inaccurate. Lots of people come from lots of different backgrounds and speak differently, so it only makes sense that they'd type differently, too. Me being a former non-verbal autistic, I had to learn sign language to communicate, and my school issued me and iPod Touch to communicate with others that don't know sign language, so my typing has always been more advanced than my ability to verbally express my thoughts. At least personally, I find it more important to say what I need to say in a way that doesn't leave any shadow of a doubt in the reader's mind.
