Brevity is wit. If you've got something to convey, do it as clearly and concisely as possible. Get to the point.
No emotions. No story time. No unnecessary jargon. Making walls of text won't make you appear smarter. It actually hints at the speaker not knowing what their core point is.

I'd say the opposite... You can find "wit in brevity" but without fully explaining your point, how could you possible explain complicated subjects?
Brevity doesn't mean trimming crucial details or providing insufficient material. The point is the use the exact words to explain it. Nothing more. If it takes two sentences, then use two sentences. If it takes two pages of paragraphs, then use two pages of paragraphs.

I ain't reading that:
Hmmm I believe that intermittent fasting has many benefits to you OP. This is a subject I feel profoundly qualified to comment on.

Let me explain.

Back in my college days I was obscenely obese. Like I would get mocked for it by my family and friends. But then I looked up ways to change my lifestyle for the better. Many of the common tips like exercise and reducing caloric intake were already known to me, but the one thing that I believe that made the most difference was my encounter with the concept of intermittent fasting. It's similar to fasting but less extreme. You basically restrict your consumption of food to a schedule. About 3 months in I could most definitely feel improvements in my physical health. Vigor was returning. My appetite was noticeably smaller. This coupled with a beginner's exercise routine I started had accelerated my progress. The culmination of all this hard work was that in about a year I had successfully lost 50 lbs in weight. I've even heard that it could potentially detox your body and revitalize your cells.

There are more benefits to it however. I can't explain it in detail because I'm not a health expert nor a licensed personal health advisor. You'll have to look it up yourself. There are plenty of learning materials available online and it's all accessible with a simple search query. I would recommend looking up terms such as "OMAD" and "16/8". There are many arrangements that you could go for and I encourage you to try them all out and find one that fits you best.

Anyways OP, hopefully you get the idea about why this is something of interest to you. I've personally benefited from it, and from what I've seen; many others have had good results as well. Including my mom who used to be overweight to the point where I was worried for her long term health and survival. Luckily I had already practiced intermittent fasting first-hand and managed to train her to follow a simple routine that had so far help her improve her blood pressure and BMI. If you've got any questions, then feel free to reach out to me by sending a friend request then DMing me. I am very passionate about this subject and I'm always ready to help anyone who wants to strive for a healthier lifestyle.
