yeah that's the problem not everybody can determine other people's mental state just by looking at them.
What type of youth are most often carrying some kind of weapon?
You are aware, it doesn't address any root cause issue, but rather merely adds to them or gives an illusion of protection, when there is none?
What are they going to do, lock up the guns in safes? By the time you get it, too late or worst they force you to go get it for them...
Have a metal detector at the front door which automatically unlocks the gun safe? I'm sure a student will figure that one out...
In America:
More than 80% of gun shootings are legally owned weapons.
More than 68% of gun shootings are taken from homes, a friend or relative.
More than 93% of gun shootings are planned in advance and have pre-warnings.
Almost all students which became a mass school shooters previously had shared messages or images online.
Most diagnosed with mental illness do not actually engage in violence against others.
Rather it's at American schools it's most commonly a bullied victims, targeted LGBTQ or racist against another peer. A few are broken dating relationships.
Approx 1 in every 5 LGBTQ has been threatened or injured on school property.
You should be addressing bullying and discrimination at your American schools, then monitoring online social media warning signs, rather than worrying about trying to provide them more weapons there.
Who logically thinks adding guns to a gun problem will somehow resolve it? I'll rather consider an alcoholic who drinks to solve his alcohol problems to be more logically reasonable.

Are these security officers not being racist for profiling this youth?
Without a search warrant are these security officers not violating the constitutional rights of this student?
2nd amendment rights?
All you need to do is look up the teacher abuses/hits student and count all them into considering they will shot instead. There's a ton of cases, some students even record their teachers snapping and the count is higher than your current school shootings.
Okay if that's the case, Obama's kids should lose their secret service protection and their school should cease being armed.
They are teachers, not soldiers. Let alone police officers.
If anything, thats a recipe for chaos and anarchy.
