Reasons against Trump whether you like it or not:
Allow me to engage the esteemed members of this forum in a discourse concerning the less savory aspects of the Trump presidency. Permit me to expound upon the manifold vexations that characterized the tenure of the aforementioned individual.
One cannot overlook Mr. Trump's penchant for employing divisive rhetoric, which served only to exacerbate societal divisions. His discourse on matters of race, immigration, and political adversaries often stoked animosity rather than fostering unity, leaving the social fabric frayed and fragile.
The foreign policy under Mr. Trump's administration was marked by unpredictability and inconsistency. His penchant for capricious decision-making left allies and adversaries alike uncertain of the United States' stance on key global issues, thereby undermining diplomatic relations and international stability.
The erosion of democratic norms during Mr. Trump's presidency remains a matter of grave concern. His disdain for established institutions, including the media, the judiciary, and the electoral process, posed a fundamental threat to the foundations of democracy, sowing seeds of doubt and discord within the body politic.
The mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic stands as another blight on the Trump administration's record. Delayed recognition of the severity of the crisis, equivocal messaging, and a lack of coordinated action resulted in a catastrophic loss of life and prolonged suffering for many.
Environmental conservation suffered setbacks under Mr. Trump's stewardship, with regulatory rollbacks and the United States' withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement signaling a disregard for the urgent imperative of addressing climate change and protecting our planet for future generations.
Ethical concerns plagued the Trump presidency, with allegations of conflicts of interest, administrative malfeasance, and a lack of transparency casting a pall over the integrity of governance.
The inhumane treatment of immigrants, epitomized by the reprehensible policy of family separation at the southern border, stands as a stain on the nation's conscience and elicited rightful condemnation from the global community.

As a non-American I'm surprised Yellow Man hasn't been charged with Treason.

I'm glad we live in a forum climate were we can have a trump thread along with the biden thread that the mods haven't locked in absolutely forever despite it being totally prone to arguments and promoting rule violations...

Even though I don't care for Trump personally, I find it very fascinating that so many 'non Americans' are so interested in our political system. I guess your home country must be a very mundane place to live. Over here everyone is burned out from the Trump train. If anything people here look for a reason to get away from it.

Most of these are quite subjective. It's hard for me to take any criticism of Trump seriously because of all the lies and slander over the past ten years about him. It's a boy who cried wolf situation with Trump.

I'm not going to read that blob of text but I'm just gonna say:
  • Hillary wasn't locked up
  • Wall was downgraded and not basically not built
  • Immigration wasn't even fixed either
  • Operation Warp Speed
  • COVID Stimulus hyperinflation and moneyprinting
  • Apparently the election was rigged but he didn't do a single thing to safeguard it or fix it?
  • Too much pandering to Israel
  • Bombed Syria

Trump sucks. He doesn't suck as much as Biden, but he still sucks.

anti-reason1 - he just expressed ideas not everyone agreed with... he didn't start some "overthrow the government camp"...

if people weren't so unhappy maybe they wouldn't have listened...

The usual distraction ad wrong question. Okay, trump is bad. So then what, does that make the alternative better?

OTOH, trump is part of the same uniparty and fully controlled by the deep state. He left it rolling undisturbed the last time, why anyone expects a difference really?

Back in time USA was built on self-sustaining people. With the gov and president a mostly redundant decoration. Over time that spirit got lost and the constitution emptied out.

At least mind the old wisdom: no matter who you vote for, you always get McCaine.

Looks like a thread that mostly copies and pastes TV headlines. Yawn.

You forget one important thing: Many people voting for Trump do not view Trump creating an authoritarian regime as a bad thing as long as they are on the privileged class of that system. It's a feature they actually like, they just don't want to admit it openly.

So telling them: "Trump is going to be a dictator" will usually result in no answer, because they actually think "Cool. That way he can own the libs."
They will never adress that issue but always try to "whatabout Biden".

Or we don't buy the melodrama that he's "creating an authoritarian regime."
