Well, I mean, it's not ascorbic acid, retinol, calcium, iron et cetera, so likely not literally correct, but I took it as a figure of speech. A somewhat unusual one I think. I think it would've been more typical to say something along "drain my soul", but I think the way you put it is as valid as a figure of speech as any and I get the point. I wasn't even meaning to insinuate otherwise.

My point was that some people are just leeches who feed on the misery of others, and that's the reason. I suppose you already figured that out yourself though.
