Whats your opinion on the stereotype "Gamer Girl"

I have heard this time and time again on different videos that those who are women or girls who play games are "attention ♥♥♥♥♥" or a "distrancing ****" , now I dont know a bout you but i use the term ONLY when the stereotype fits exactly and for the small percent who actually enjoy games i appreciate your love and attention to the community and what you have brought even if youve just played the game so thank you and same with the guys.

The CoD girls that are ragers and think their NeRdS
The farmville people
And then the girls who play video games.

Wait Girls play Video games? Jokeing But I havent ran into any chicks on games that were bad i think its great that girls play games too.Funboys examples I dont play cod or facebook games so i guess the only ones ive encounterd were girls who play video games.

exactly how they are stereotyped, the ones who play them are lump-sumed in with those who dont really care for the comunnitys and only want to "find the button to shoot things"

yea its a shame that those who arent the stereotype are suposedly terrible at the game but they arent and im glad there are thos who are happy for those who enjoy the community and what other games have to offer

Why is there not a gamer guy? Why do we not say 'That guy's an attention vvhore'? Why do we only think of girls when we think of attention vvhores?

Your right after reading this i do agree that were all victoms of some stereotype and weather people not calling guys what people call girls well i think its the mind set where in the 90's games were a "boys" place if thats a correct way to say it

I belive it was ether out of ign or giness book of world records but then again it could be false cause of people who lie about there gender on psn or steam
