(In an actual house designed by an actual architect those things would go in different rooms probably, it's fine as long as everything fits.)
Not gonna lie, guys ... if you don't like to pick up a hammer, don't buy a house.
Even on a new build- there never in the history of houses has one been built that is 100% perfect. Even on the fanciest custom mansions a close examination eventually will find some minor flaws.
If one is going to be a homeowner they really need to learn to be a homeowner. Merely qualifying by the skin of one's teeth, putting on a suit and tie and begging the bank for money and then hanging on for dear life is not being a true homeowner!
I've witnessed people buy a nice house, never give it a coat of paint or weather treat the window frames, or even pick up a measuring tape, and within 15 years its not salvageable.
If you own a house, there is ALWAYS something on the to-do list. ♥♥♥♥ you HAVE to do, especially the seasonal stuff like gutter clearing and you know washing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ outside of the house.

You clearly are living it. The truth is there always is something to do with the house.
Plus one should always have some reserve cash set aside. At some point that roof is going to leak. At some point that water heater is going to go and you wanted a tankless one anyways...
This is true homeownership.
