Minecraft Lagging with Great PC

I have been playing minecraft for a long time. It has run great. But recently, especially with the new updates, my pc has been having giant lag spikes all the way down to 2fps many times. I have tried everything but nothing works, even on vanilla. Somebody please help me, and if you need more info I can update the post with photos. I even gave my mc 4 GB of ram.

just uninstall it to help you live a better quality of life.

rotten thing needs a full code base rewrite to fix all the bloat smh

I increased my refresh rate and it is smoother now, but still a bit laggy...

I can't find any type of map to show where my 'base' is so I wander off and I get lost and that's that. What's the point if you can't get home?
