No, shrimp are not bugs. They're distantly related, because they're both arthropods, but "bug" has a distinct biological definition, and it's related to the method of taking in food. True bugs have mouthparts evolved for piercing and sucking. The mouthparts of a shrimp aren't structured like that, so they're not bugs. Not only that, but shrimp aren't even insects; by definition, a bug HAS to be an insect.
