I am suprized so many people believe in the super-natural. Especially on a technology related website.

The super-natural has no effect on me. I am also not sure how it could, because its super-natural. Which already implies that it cannot affect you, with you being natural.

You don't have to believe in them, to be affected by them. Such as if parents/community force it onto you. Or if laws force things on you via religious beliefs.

Or seeing a Christmas tree. Or rather many of them. All cut down, sold, transported from A to B - to then end up in the bin like 2 weeks later. Because these people love the environment very much and care a lot. Or the 4 weeks of these Christmas fairs, which is all about mulled wine.

Or all the Christmas stuff in the supermarkets at that time, till there´s the Easter stuff in there.

Or the holidays and special days which are connected to it, which are only the Christian ones.

Or the architecture - rather city / town / village design, which have a church in their center.

The cemeteries.

Certain Christian symbols every now and then on historical buildings.

Doesn´t need to be super forced to be affected by it. It´s just part of history, while i don´t get that some people are stuck in the past and still stick to it, but that´s a personal decision of the people, and okay if they don´t want to force their beliefs onto others. In Canada we only believe in the one real god - the bearded wood chopping god.

Ah nice, I tried wicca as my first greatly opposes christianity religion, but it still had stuff from it once I went pass green magick and into high magick. So I was relly upset about that. I wanted 100% nothing to do with the religion I was oppressed by growing up.

You would think a religion that calls the other, the one that did the burning times, wouldn't want stuff from that religion in it.

Wicca can progress to spiritual satanism if one doesn't believe in things like karma or rule of 3. Though I assume your a LaVeyan Satanist.

christianity was forced on me by hypocrites, ironically enough i was a christian and a hypocrite until i started to desperately need some self-respect and confidence when I hit some new lows as far as depression goes. for me the ideas the bible talk about are valuable as a philosophy, but having a ritualistic practice is actually opposite to what the bible says. religion is counter to what should be it's intended point, but that can't just be told to people, it must be something you comprehend for your own reasons when the point is realized. at that point the philosophy of your religion can do nothing for you, nor your rituals, because what you believe will already be your subconscious practice, which is your actual religion, not the one you claim to have.
