Americans can't name countries
https://youtu.be/umpalMtQE50?si=aej8oPv3KBx3_bp-

Do Americans learn about other countries and cultures around the world in their formal education?

In this video, the Americans can barely name countries on their own continent, let alone in Asia and Africa.

Is this clip representative of Americans or is it an exaggeration?

Come up with a noun that refers specifically to people from this country then;
Unitedstatian or US-ian.

Every time I see that word, I groan inside and think "This must be how latinx makes some people feel".

Does Jimmy Kimmel even count as comedy? But, no, he wouldn't air segments that didn't insult the group of people (Americans) he was targeting in that clip. I'm not sure what's worse, Kimmel being Kimmel, or people seeing him as credible.

OP can't be expected to investigate the clip he found to post; there's a whole country that urgently needs baiting.

i've heard some discord communities consider themselves free states, along with some deep web chans. and they'll retaliate the same as any other roleplaying country.

You could clip up similar questions from any UK quiz show of the past 20 years and ask the same question of the British.

Sure, just run the server off a decommissioned ocean platform, like Sealand.

I don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know what "latinx" is and speaking a language in the same linguistic branch does not constitute an ethnicity. In fact, there are hundreds of ethnicities in America.

it'll still be based inside a gated community designed for honeypotting by foreign states.

Ignoring how virtually nobody outside of this hemisphere (most if whom just call us Americans) are going to understand that, doesn't that have the same problem as "American" supposedly does? How do they know I'm not from the United States of Mexico, which when translated to English is the actual name Mexico has for their country?

Which are variations of the Latin language?
Latinx is gender neutral of latina, latinos. When spanish, like many languages is gendered.

Its the west trying to force itself into the spanish language.

It's a gender-neutral term for Latino.

There are hundreds of native cultures in the US and they are extremely different but have somewhat similar backgrounds and commonalities that require them to have an umbrella term, whether that's Latino or Latinx is another subject but don't be surprised that the anglosphere has a need for such a term.

I would argue the Portuguese but the Spanish would be a close second.
