Why are game forums filled with so much complaining?

What happened to buying a game because you love it and posting positive things about it, or posting helpful comments about gameplay, lore etc.?

These days every other thread in game forums is about some negative nonsense like 'it's woke!' or 'it's broken!' or 'This game is trash!' If I got a game and didn't like it, I would not post on the respective forum at all. I'd just move on.
