Well, the pope doesn't seem to agree with you, he's been rather accepting of the LGBTQ community and even an atheist like me knows that the pope is highest christian authority on earth on account of the pope being the representative of God on earth and all of that.

I'm not catholic he only rules over catholic people not no other Christians. So the pope means nothing to me other then an old guy in a funny hat.

There are multiple verses in the Bible that condemn homosexuality.

Also the Pope is a high authority only to the Catholic church. Still, there are Catholics who disagree with him.

So what you are saying is that you don't actually believe in christianity, you just believe in whatever you happen to like and agrees with your own personal biases and beliefs.

Catholics are different from other Christians. The pope only rules over and controls the catholic church no other churches. You got Baptist, Presbyterian, Jehovah's Witnesses, church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and the pope has nothing to do with them christians. And Catholics worship the virgin Mary not God or Jesus. Why do you think all Catholics got a virgin Mary statue in their yards and house. Catholic law demands that you have a statue of the virgin Mary to worship which makes Catholics a cult.
