Just put some ice on it. It's cheaper.
If you eat it... the reason they put it on bruises is cause it's an ice pack... and not a lot of people stock ice packs in the freezer.
just buy cheaper cuts and tenderize em with a hammer
medkits are actually just full of steak and administer steak juice to you when used
Especially the 50th cheese wheel.
it is the cold (and not being hard like solid ice) thats doing most the job)
an gel-cepack however will do the job far superiour without the added infection risk.
there are some who say that enzymes in the steak will help... I doubt that.
while steaks do contain a lot of the enzymes that help restore from injury and build muscle faster than with other protain sources.. those you get when EATING it.. not putting it on your skin.
-> there do excist dermal cremes with enzymes and nutrients that will actually aid in dermal restoration.. not all skincare is fake.. but the real ones often are expensive.. still those enzymes.. and nutrients are not in steak.
morrowind tought me.. nonsense.. all you need to carry is a set of alchemy equipment..
if by well you mean rare till medium rare... and not turned into a piece of leather..
I've personally never tried it. It's just better to eat the steak, as you said.
