A lot of people are under the impression that promiscuity is ok. I'm not here to say that it's wrong nor right, but to state the obvious fact; Just because you're dating a promiscuous person doesn't mean their wild and sneaky behavior will change.

I think it's a mistake to label promiscuous people as wild and sneaky. You can be promiscuous without being either of those things, and also be both of those things without being promiscuous.

I'm married, so I wouldn't date anyone.

But if I wasn't in a relationship, generally speaking I don't care about the person's past as long as they respect the boundaries I set for our relationship. In other words, if they can stop sleeping with other people if we started a relationship together, I don't mind.

If they continued sleeping with other people after we started dating, then I would consider that to be cheating and I would tell them we are not in a relationship anymore.
