Matrix 5 Announced
This will be the first The Matrix film not to directly involve creators Lana and Lilly Wachowski.

Goddard, the fan-favorite writer-director whose credits include The Martian, The Cabin in the Woods and World War Z, has been tapped to write and direct a new Matrix feature for Warner Bros.

then watch the video 2 posts above yours. grab some popcorn. and maybe a bucket just incase you throw up.
You postin' that video like it's some kind of facts, when it's like an overweight kid that looks like he needs to go outside more, whom I wouldn't listen to anyway guessing a bunch of stuff about the inner workings of hollywood like he actually knows anything. :steamfacepalm:
Are you saying that the information you base your decisions on come from movie stars and super models?

I don't believe I said that. I did say I think the creator of the video perhaps needs to go outside more.

smart. that'd be a fallacy if you agreed.

the entire idea was pitched as a theory. it did require seeing the movie or at least the authors summary of it. if half of the video is an omage to the original Matrix movie and the 4th wall is broken at times. then the second half of the movie is a remake of the original matrix story. what does that say about he movie?

does that at least explain why many people claim it to be the worst movie they ever seen in their life? does that possibly explain the abnormally low rating for a matrix movie?

the theory comes from the author attempting to read between the lines. there's mention of WB and scenes of execs in WB in the movie. literally in a matrix movie. it sounds like some bad tv show episode.

some interesting points is again mentioned in my original post that you seemed to cut out for some reason. the proof of this is in the video per an interview with the directors.

I'm mainly interested in 4 due to people saying it was made terrible on purpose.

its said that WB chased the directors for a long time asking for Matrix 4. WB told the directors they wanted to make it a re-occuring franchise. something like marvel movies i presume. the directors kept pushing WB away. To the directors, the story is done.
then WB announced they had a director for Matrix 4 that wasn't the original directors and that's when one of them stepped up to purposefully ruin the movie.

if you keep that in the back of your head as you watch the video. stuff will click.

even if the theory is false. i can't imagine how WB can recover when their intention was to create a movie franchise like star wars or whatever. something they can milk for a long time.

I loved the first 3 Matrix movies. I have watched them multiple times.

Could have done without Pt. 4. I felt it simply wasn't necessary, i.e. it looked like a money grab to be honest.

Even if Keanu is in it I likely won't watch part 5. I was happy where 3 ended and I'll leave it at that.

Watched the 4th Matrix. Went in expecting pure distortion and propaganda, but I liked it. I watched the original Matrix around when it came out, that was 24 years ago. The 2nd and 3rd were ~20 years ago, and I have a more negative opinion of them as they seemed to take the momentum of the first movie and loop it all right back into "grand designed beyond your comprehension or escape", savior, Messiah, and crucifixion programming. With the 4th I think a lot of people never moved on from the original trilogy, they just didn't get it. Or they watched the originals much later. It also mirrors a lot of what I've come up with myself in the last few years.

4th Matrix was fine. Lot of personal numerical and temporal synchronicities as well.
