Reading any good books?
If so, what are your suggestions?

But I am always skeptical of such lists, for they may propagandate rather than educate.
Good list!

One book I really liked when I was younger was "The Art of Happiness" by the Dalai Lama

I used to follow that guy a lot

Eat,Pray,Love
Why Men Love Beeches
The Vagine Monologues

All three have greatly enriched my life and made me feel empowered.

Books save your life. They take you out of this place and into new worlds.

Such a shame.

I'm currently re-reading The Hound of the Baskervilles. I like the atmosphere of the story in that book.

i don't think people have that kind of imagination

which is also why i generally prefer non fiction or hard fiction books

A dictionary is the holiest of books, for everything is in it.

I finished What Happened at Sunrise Gardens by Nate Southard. Interesting novella about a cult like that at Jonestown. But with zombies.

Continuing to read through Star Trek novels. Many of them are awful, but oddly compelling. Especially ones with legitimate Mary Sue characters and wildly different portrayals of regular characters.

The occasional short story in an anthology by Brian Keene while I'm taking a break.

And started in on Kate Morton's novels. The House at Riverton is very reminiscent of Daphne Du Maurier.
