I surround myself with wholesome and honest people.
If one feels the need to get off by being tricky that is their exit point.
Many people talk talk talk.
And when it comes time to deliver just watch!
"Oh I lost my phone!"
"Something came up!"
"Grandma had a heart attack and died! Not the one who died last week. I have lots of grandparents who keep dying every time I promised I would so something...."
Choose better people who are poised to deliver and save yourself a heap of misery.
It isn't just a baseball thing. It happens in all aspects of life.

So how often you make it look like you're going to act, only to bail at the last second?
I see... Well then, I never balk.
I say this hopefully to everyone out there who can benefit from this.
Think of every aspect in life that this could apply to.
In dating, you are a guy and she talks talks talks about how she could suck the chrome off a bumper hitch- but "No! I WAS going to do that that but you(some made up nonsense) did this or that and now I'm not...:
In the job market the employer has "recruiters", they put out ads, they say it's a great place to work, they have plaques on the wall with sayings... and yet after one interview after another- still no job!
It's all over the place.
