Fatphobia
How do you feel about fat people?

Do you think mandatory exercise by law is fatphobic or do you promote fat people?

If I'm reading the article right the mice treated with PO53 not only lost body fat, but their bodies grew more muscle mass. It changed the body to burn fat instead of storing it.

What a wonderful drug.

It wouldn't surprise me if it's swept under the carpet and only sold to the rich.

Mandatory exercise by law can´t happen, as there would always be exceptions - but it probably couldn´t harm if the people had free access to gyms - instead of paying a monthly fee in some 24 months contract.
thats literally what keeps ppl goin to the gym. cuz they cant quit anymore

Well as far as my home country is concerned, we need more restrictions and laws in place when it comes to marketing and selling foods with excessive sugar and fats. Unfortunately that's not going to happen because companies that sell that kind of stuff are in charge behind the scene.

This.

I really don't get it why there's no more restrictions, many foods and snacks could for example contain less sugars, most stuff would even taste better

But they don't...

I forgot to mention all the nasty chemicals as well.

It's because companies that sell this stuff are also investors for political campaigns, so politicians have their hands tied...

And because people have grown up with this garbage, everyone is used to it, so no one is really taking a stand against it.

Mandatory exercise doesn`t help anyone when your countries entire food culture is tied to making people as fat as possible for maximum profit.
That is so that they could be given medication for life. Another patient cured is a customer lost.

no health organization cares about the health of the citizens

Maybe some people enjoy a little cushion for the pushin'?

Mandatory exercise? Good luck enforcing that.
If it was mandatory, I would do less exercise.:catinablanket:

I seen video's were people are saying men who don't find large ladies attractive are fatphobia. And I watched another video were one woman truly believes fatphobia is rooted in racism... really, really. video below and there is more like it if you search...

I swear... the english language is gonna devolve.

Imagine using the word "phobia" which means "fear of". I'm sorry but I don't think people are afraid of fat people.

"Phobia"

"an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something."

"Aversion"

"a strong dislike or disinclination."

If the English language does devolve, you'll be a contributor.

There's fat and then there's FAT...

There's nothing wrong with a bit of fat, being chubby is alright.

But having a weight of 120 Kg or more... that's too much.

Men and women alike can still be quite attractive with a bit of fat, but not when they're so fat that they start rolling.

I have no primitive fear of overweight people that I might fear to see a person eat a pizza.
