To be honest it would probably be a definitive positive on society.

I’m unaware of everything except the sense you look for in nonsense

All you did so far was report my post because you are completely out of argument and haven't provided at all in the first place.

And your last comment does not make any sense at all, its obvious you are only here to cause havoc.

Thats pretty weak.

Alcohol, drugs and pornography are not exactly equivalent, no matter how much you want to say that. Alcohol is a substance that people enjoy for its own sake and can take or leave. They don't desire in the same way as drug users or porn watchers. Drugs are designed to create a hard chemical dependency to ensure repeat buyers. Pornography is designed to exploit the most human of powerful urges, as well as weakness.

We have an alcohol problem because of the cultural ritual of social drinking and the legacy of the 1960s counterculture with its sex, drugs and rock and roll ethos, not because alcohol is an addictive substance. People are literally made fun of if they don't drink, and "two drinks minimum" were a requirement at many clubs. In college, it's literally a ritual to drink until you pass out.

It's not a misrepresentation. What was misrepresented was why that "pot is a gateway drug" phrase was advanced in the first place. The Libertarian argument that it meant that pot would hook you on drugs was always a straw man.

That's exactly what I and everyone saw in the 1970s, 1980s and beyond. Pot was sold, then came cocaine, crack and other substances sweeping the very neighborhoods that had started out just smoking pot.

All the other stuff you mentioned I'm not going to respond to because it's clear that you're just Googling Libertarian talking points, not actual arguments based in a Real
World understanding of the drug problem.

Everything you have said is just completely wrong to the core, but I can't be bothered to respond and dismantle all of your claims right now as I have spent the entire day on this forum dismantling ridiculous comments.

So I guess, believe whatever you want to believe?

I wouldn't do that since I am not American and even if I was, I would not. Because it does not affect me or you. But I would get politically active if I would live in the U.S and some state I live in would ban me from watching porn or restrict me from doing other normal harmless stuff in my private home because of some religious senator, gouvernor or other religious politican who considers some activity " evil spirits " or " dirty " or whatever they call it.

If the U.S is such a free country as it claims to be, then they should not restrict peoples freedom and privacy based on some outdated belief systems.

Okay, out of curiously, what country are you in?

Its literally written on my profile.

No it would not. Banning sexuality is basically just the first step into a way more extreme and restrictive society, the U.S has always been somewhat weird and shy about sexuality, while openly portraying dead bodies and gore on TV like its the most normal thing on the planet.

Says a lot about this place tbh.

ahh, figures.

Germany has no say over American policies. By the way what made you think Germany had any effect against United States. Usually it the other way around. United States is known to sanctioned many countries.

I recall that United States told Germany not to deliver F-16 jet fighters to Ukraine. Lately it's America that has the last word in terms of international policies.

I am not sure if your aware of, Germany few weeks ago, far right won the elections there. The next general elections in Germany is in 2025. It looks like the current government will change to far right due the amount of seats they won.

I don't know why you think I claimed Germany will influence the U.S. Germany is a puppet of the U.S.

Yeah I heard about the elections, in fact I was personally there to vote for the right-wing party of my government (not far right, there are not far right parties here other than in France and a few other EU countries).

I am looking forward to the new right-wing leadership so we can finally stop being a U.S puppet and make our own decisions and hopefully also carry firearms to defend ourselfs against " wild animals ".

I've heard of the 'age verification' requirement that sites are fighting against but I havn't seen US states banning porn.

also, the P-industry is huge, wealthy and probably have dirt on some government officials to keep them from being 'banned' (or atleast in some states)

All outright banning porn(which isn't what is happening) does is push it underground and make it dangerous.
abcd 2024 年 6 月 20 日 下午 3:06
no that's censorship.

"They" continue their goal. "They" want every humans on the planet to own a passport in order to go on Internet, to gain more data on them and control them more easily.

They started with the terrorism, because it was an easy excuse, they followed it with the ban of what they call "conspiracy theorists" so the more educated and knowledgeable people can't warn others, they now do the porn websites because everybody consume it and like the terrorism, they can convince more people that less liberty is security and security is better than everything. When it will be done, they will wait 2-3-4 years, the time for humanity to find this normal, and they will follow with a by-law Internet passport, for every porn websites and every social networks, with laws forcing every ISP to comply and report to the Gestapo all of their clients trying to evade them.

In 25 years, the governments will control all Internet servers and ISPs and the citizens will be happy or just won't mind and they will call this a progress.

This is how much [the moderators doesn't allow me to use the word] humans are...

This is the libertarian slippery slope of absurdity.

If you don't give your kid crack cocaine how will they eat their broccoli.

Porn isn't freedom, its a corrosive drug, and one that society is not surviving.

People are animals not evolved to handle this environment.

Limits matter.
https://youtu.be/dRsdWDPls10

There are sensible limits that should exist, as Distributist says, things like dating apps should limit the number of matches given to women to increase quality and to stop inflating their heads. Its not just porn, whether libertarians like it or not, society is engineered, if you aren't doing it, someone else will be, and they will abuse that freedom to corrupt the youth, as you see with the pornification of everything.

What is twitch now? Babys first OF, it should have never been allowed to happen.

You want to play video games, you don't need to expose kids to some trashy woman so she can fill their minds with garbage. That isn't freedom, its abuse.

I'm a complotist, I know what I'm talking about lol. I took the red pill, not the blue... Is this absurb enough for you ?

I'm not saying the current regime is doing it correctly, I'm saying it could and should be done.

There is no reason why twitch thots should have access to young boys, it is exploitation.

Settled issue - Hustler Magazine v. Falwell. Pornography is protected by the First Amendment. Stop asking the government to keep your hand out of your pants and to raise your kids for you.

No, just because abortion is a states rights issue now doesn't mean that you can pitch a fit about every other ruling that didn't go your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way. That's how you lose.

This better not be a platform I wind up running on.
