5080
Because of the surge in vram and power overall.

Its worth waiting for. Nvidia might even launch them q4 this year, if people stop buying the 4000 series (that will be obsolete from a modern perspective, once 5000 arrive, due to the overall performance gain, atleast from leaks)

depends on how much the 50xx series are better than the 40xx, if they're not a significant jump in performance then i might wait for the 60xx

None, 7900 XT is more than enough here.

I'm waiting to see how good the RTX 5060 will be

Rumours showcase, that this will be a huge leap, much more than the last 3.
We have to remember that ever since they started to focus on RT, they have been limited in many ways, but this new gpu architecture will be much much better..

Cards that can run RT somewhat alright on 1080p is already out, but this next one will make it industry standard in my opinion.

The only thing that could stop it, is if the leaks were to positive.

Overall I still think the RT and Vram upgrade alone will be worth it to wait (I am waiting for next GPU and CPU generation, because I want to build a new.. I´ve upgraded all I can with this old rig.. albeit it still runs all new games in 1440p on highest settings with RT above 60 fps.

Whatever's the newest generation after I pay back my debts and upgrade from my 1070.
Prinzip Jun 4, 2024 @ 10:53am
I've been cruising on integrated GPU my whole life so literally any GPU would be an improvement lol.

I should turn in my newer part to see if they are broken or not first before i Am thinking of buying a new gpu in the future :steambored:.
and tbh i doubt Nvidia cares about 50xx serie looking at how much AI talk there is now.

6090, 5090 won't be worth switching out my 4090 for even if it's a gift

Ideally a 5070 or the AMD equivalent, however I will have to see, I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't a cheaper less powerful card.

Next flagship gpu of AMD. I don't plan to buy Nvidia cards because of some anti-customer policies

I'm not. I have little to no interest in the sort of games that require a powerful new GPU.

Probably an AMD GPU when I do upgrade, however for the time being i'm vibing going through the backlog, atm playing 2000's - 2010's games.
