i love their food and the flavor they offer is s tier. they burgers and chicken with their bbq sauce is so nostalgic since its always the same and always taste good.

i like how people love hating on things that are good for no reason. people hated subway too and i love subway for how they do things.


americans tend to like the most unhealhy of food too aka mcdonalds and jersey mikes and so on. anything really high in salt/oils/cals.


i always loved the underdogs of food unless they are like applebees that just sucks so hard no one can love them

The go to, to cover up bad or poor tasting food, is excessive, salt, fat or sugar.

If it were legal they probably would sell you a boiling/seltzer cup of lard, with thirty sugar cubes of corn syrup sugar equivalent and salted with five grams of salt, per serving. 5000+KCals a cup.

Then they'd disguise the terrible smell of lard (sourced from a potpourri of animals) by doing something horrific like, cinnamon, berry or bread scent, to throw you off.

Anyway, BK don't think I stepped foot in one for 25+ years at this point. McDonalds is only a year ago, went for some overpriced milkshake and fries, only because a guest wanted some.

I have to agree 100% with this. I have gone to Burger King a number of times in the past few weeks to eat.

The only things bad about Burger King is the unhealthiness of some of the food (I do eat the chicken sandwich there more often than not BUT I have fries and soda too so one foot forward-one foot back), the lack of cleanliness in the restroom (at least the men's room at the one I went to), and the negative attitude of some of the workers there.

I don't make it a habit to eat fast food, though.

burger king and mcD are both trash.. there are plenty of places where you can grab a bite to eat that is not even that much more expensive.. won't take that much longer to take home, and is much more tasty and nutricious...

but mcD is the worse one of the two... of the entire menu of McD.. every time in my life I was at a McD I went there cause essentially in a group and others HAD to go there.. I usually sat there silently ordering nothing... as I hate the food there.. it tastes like vomit to me especially their big mac is terrible..
The mcCafe items are slighly better but thats a relative new concept and only like 3 McD in the nation have even a FEW of the McCafee options.. and even that it is only like to be able to get a fresh croisant or some mango smoothy IF they have that which most of the time they don't/

the only 2 items on the entire mcdonalds menu I deem eatable.. are the local mcKroket.. and their milkshakes (though the idiots discontinued the cocos flavored one that was the best taste)
they also in the past had a McHawai.. a GRILLED burger with a slice of GRILLED pinapple.. and sweet sauce.. that was passable too.. but that was a temporal item from like 1996 and has never returned to the menu..

the items at burger king.. while their hamburger, cheeseburger and whoppert are just as gross and uneatable as mcd's crap..
they have much more options.
The Big King XXL (especially with added bacon) is nice.. so is their long chicken.. and steakhouse burger.. and their specials.. are generally also nice..

as for fries.. I hate those fake french fries.. I prefer me very thick cut flemish fries.. I want to still tase potato.. while neither restaurant has those.. the curling fries of burgerking are passable.. while mcds flemish fries are gross.
as for sauce.. McD only has gross "american sauce" and ketchup... which is WRONG.. burger king at least has proper mayonaise to go with your fries.

salad wise.. burger king has lost points.. their side salad was way way way better than mcD's was.. but sadly after 30-40 year on the meny recently burger king has scrapped their side salad from the menu.. no more salad option at burger king.. a loss cause their salad with balsamico dressing was actually an option I 9/10 picked instead of fries.

than icecream.. and shakes.. while I agree mcD's milkshakes are slighly better in creamyness.. burger king's has better flavors, with usually something like pistacio, cocos , pinapple or mango as a special option.. while mcd always stick to the same dull vannila, chocolate and strawberry options which I never pick.
even if burger king has no special shake going they still got the decent banana shake.. while mcd does not have that one either.

as for desert... the twisters of burger king contain proper oreo's m&^m, twix and so on.. those of mcD fake immitations also burger king adds like 10 times more of them in their twisters... AND add sauce too.. which makes them vastly superior.

mcD has no right to exist... in the past at least their toys were great meaning you bought and trashed the food just for the toys.. but there have not been good mcD toys in decades anymore..
all they have going is marketing and marketshare.. foodwise and pricewise they have lost to burgerking long ago..

in my country there are 62 burger king restaurants, 27 owned the other franshined
and 260 mcD restaurants could not find data on how many are franchises other than.. than most are.. very few are directly owned.

revenue wise.. burger king makes 60 million a year with just those 27 owned restaurants (unknown how much they earn from the other ones)
while mcD with all their restaurants makes about 120 million a year in my nation..

that tells something bout populatity... per restaurant that effectively means burger king ones sell 5 times as much.

oh and more reason why burger king is better and more populair.. IS their vegetarian options (which are rather lacking at mcD)

I not order them.. but it does mean a mixed group will more likely go to burger king now as burger king allows you to just swap the meat on any of their burgers for a vegetarian burger.. meaning both meat eaters and vegetariians have acces to the full meny..

at mcD the vegetarian options are seperate and much crappier... tasting.. and when they introduce them they generally full on replace meat items for vegetation versions (like how when they tried replacing their most populair item here : the mc Kroket.. for a vegan version flat out scrapping the classic one.. the backlash was hard and they had to undo that switch. which in turn scared many vegan customers away..

mcD generally pulls more such bad publicity stunts..

In my experience, burger king has tastier burgers than mcdonalds, but the actual service and restaurant quality is a bit hit or miss.

McDonalds has consistently decent burgers, and the McDonald's outlets I've been to consistently have decently fast service and are almost always rather clean.

By comparison, burger king has tastier burgers (my favourites are the shroom burgers and the breakfast croissanwiches), but their outlets are noticeably less clean and I often find myself waiting a while for my food even when business is slow.
