I've tried. They don't listen to me.
18 bucks for one month of Ubisoft+ is no different than renting games in the 90's except you get a full month of more than one game, and no late fees since rented games were only valid for a week.
So, 18 bucks to play a single game for a full month that is over 90 bucks CAD brand new (in Canada) is a hell of a deal.
But I prefer owning my copy instead of justifying a monthly subscription.
Ok keep that thought.Predatory subscriptions is not a thing , what could possible go wrong with set it and forget it.
Logical thinking doesn't appear to be your strong suit.
If you read my post how the entire picture fits in than you see what the logical thinking is. Good job on such "critical thinking" and keeping their roll on.
If you have such a hate boner for Ubisoft, don't play their games. They aren't forcing you to buy them or support them.
They not forcing me to play, and Im not forced to buy which goes both ways. I dont have anything with ubisoft, im just stating what the fact are and their model be with ESG be with their business practices toward consumers.
Ubisoft charges way above normal prices for their games. This has been happening since 2017 with Origins, and most likely before. It isn't new.
Pay what you think a game is worth at a low enough discount that suits your wallet. It's incredibly easy.
I also don't care one iota about ESG or SBI. That's for the easily offended and highly intolerable to get their panties in a bunch about.
You make the new normal chief by buying at any price they set. Sure after four years, you getting a deal on top of the ubisoft plus, and the online DRM.
If you dont care than enjoy anti consumer practices bundled in, because ESG is part of it.
I don't have Ubisoft+ and don't plan on subscribing.
Never noticed DRM in any of their games. My system is up to snuff.
Side note: And I finally figured out how to block OP's YouTube reference channel. One click last time and my YouTube got spammed of it's videos.

Defending such practices, give more and more of results of the same bundled on top of each other until the multi anti-consumer bundled in practices becomes the new normal. But when you can just close the eyes and gaslight the consumer and go into apologist mental gymnastics of defending DEI/ESG bonuses, what could possible go wrong. Its not like they will keep adding more anti consumer practices... you know....
Yeah and where do they get their bonuses from. They just hire consultant for fun because they have money to burn. If you believe that I got an bridge to sell you in Alaska.
You vote with your money on everything, if you you allow such practices dont be surprised on the next anti consumer move, as they have done so far and they have a legacy which speaks on itself.
