"Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover"
A very common saying. But what do you think of it?

I think it's correct in some situations, but really, if you can't take your title seriously as an author in an age where several people can be involved in such project, why should the audience?

If it looks stupid, I can't help but think it will probably be stupid.

Sometimes the most obvious answer is the one we overthink and never believe is the truth.
My flaw is I always take people seriously. Always have. This is a proven flaw because it's caused me to waste so much of my time and energy on people who were never serious to begin with.

Since you know what the issue is, you can work on finding ways to deal with it and overcome it. Saying it is easy, I know, but you're young and have plenty of time to become a better version of yourself.

Of course. I'm the best version I've ever been. And yet, still young enough to do more.

And make more mistakes to learn from, but that's just how life is. You got this.

This fella has the answer
When you see gang bangers walking towards you and you think "don't judge a book by its cover" and then get robbed you'll understand it.

I'm pretty sure that isn't a logical statement. Can you attempt to give real world examples of taking people seriously and then them turning out to not be serious?

Cause its just sounds like you are gullible and easily scammed to be honest.

Taking jokes that are meant to be jokes literally. Kills the vibe.

Personally I would have put yours up as the answer to the question ^^ But here have some points as reward at least.

I'm not picky. I'll mark that one, and award yours.

So you have a mental disorder? Thats what i'm hearing. I'm trying to be understanding and recognize your neurodivergent uniqueness.

Dunno could have been the bullets coming out of the pistols from the gangbangers that killed it instead.

Sorry you made it to tempting to ignore :)

I think it is the wise choice. Now just have to wait for people that are going to disagree with it being correct making a fuzz about it.

You gave into your darker desires. Slap on the wrist! :P

Interestingly enough, most books are judged by their covers.
