I have a 4TB external HDD to use as mass storage for when I need to transfer to and from my SSD. It's fine to play from with older titles, but I just prefer the loading times of an SSD.
and you can't beat multiplayer games, sea of thieves and rust are legit almost 100 gb and same with others.
why is modern game taking up huge disk space? I dont know, sorry.
Something like Elden Ring might take up 60 GBs (and more with the DLC), while an indie title such as Hollow Knight is only around 9 GBs or so, last I checked.
It’s basically putting a couple big objects into a tub and then filling in the gaps with smaller things.
Language packs should all be DLC as well, I don`t need twenty languages worth of voice acting taking room on my SSD. Let me just have damn English.
Almost every day some game is downloading some Chinese or whatever language pack that I don`t need and bam another GB added.
How much space can you restore after deleting them from the likes of Mortal Kombat or Tekken? A lot. Why is that a problem then? Because every time I want to download it I have to wait 6 hours for it to finish and by the time its finished I am not in a mood for it.
Despite that not being what the original intention for upscaling was supposed to be.
Didn't take long for that to change.
