Why is Trump free if he's guilty?

(His base is using this as a talking point because they think by saying why isnt he in a jail cell if hes guilty, that it proves this is all a farce.)

Michael Cohen saw jail time for the same crime.

being a former pres doesn't exempt DT from the law.

Sentencing will factor that DT isn't remorseful and that he attacked the judge and that he has 10 contempt charges and gag orders. jail would be good for Trump. he could raise more money, etc. Jail is probably the best outcome for him and his campaign.

Trump is a rich psychopath. They don't play by the same rules us peasants do.
