Ties are stupid (as are the people who wear them)
Watching the Trump verdict (guilty, mother-fluffer!). It doesn't really change anything yet (appeals, and a fascist corrupt Supreme Court).

But what I'm really struck by is how many $500/hour lawyers are wearing ugly, badly tied ties.

Why do people wear ties? Is it just a wealth or power signal? (if that's true, at least learn how to tie a Windsor, and wear a tie that didn't come from the Target discount rack)

Or is it a vain attempt to hide their turkey-wattle necks? (if that's true, epic fail. Consider cutting down on burgers or walking more than your escalator to bathroom trips).

I used to have to wear ties daily to a crappy mid-manager job. (Retirement has it's benefits!).

I hated them then, I hate them now, and I hate everyone who wears them. Except for people who wear them as a bold fashion statement, That does not apply to any of the lawyers or talking heads on either side of Trump.

Are ties the stupidest fashion accessory ever? Nope. The Romans did some truly weird fashion stuff.

Are ties the stupidest fashion accessory today? I vote yes.

Not going to lie, sometimes I just wear a bolo tie for fun (out of style, it's a "designer" bolo tie). If I was in the States, I'd probably wear it more often.

Bolo ties look super stylish on people.

I was going to say Agent 47 got to him and took him out. :hp_kyu:
Well, is part of business attire... Pretty much standard law and politics dress code.

If you did not notice Trump wears one pretty much all the time in public, as do other male politicians...

I spit on your dress codes. :homelol:

No I get it. My job requires me to wear pants and a shirt.

There is one time in which ties are a good bonus:

When one is stripping every article of clothing is something to work with, play around with, wave around before taking off.

One wants multiple items to work with otherwise there is nowhere to go too soon.

Ties are a symbol of respect. Dressing up for an occasion shows mannerism. It separates from lower classes of common folks.

They aren't a symbol of respect. They also don't separate anything.

Further proof that liberalism is a mental illness, but he's right about the ties!
Agent 47 would like to know your location.
Avril Lavigne had the right idea.
