Oh yeah… I eat a bunch of free samples.
Don’t tell anyone this but I sneak in more than 1 sample. Heuhehehe.
Target is frequently disappointing with either not having what I'm looking for in stock, or the website saying they do, but then they don't when I drive over there.
I stick to Costco. To all accounts, they're one of the most benevolent employers in the country, and the membership pays for itself. As long as you're careful whenever getting anything perishable. I just had to make a pressure cooker pot of soup with, among other things, a couple pounds of almost-brown, wilting salad mix.
You may not realize, many stores do now lock up valuable/desirable items to prevent theft. Theft is a major problem and a loss to a business. Walmart isn't the only store that does it.
While I personally wouldn't do that, The Walmart I frequently buy chicken and cat food at is very clean and employees are mostly sweet. You get one or two who are just having a bad day and do their best not to jump down your throat.
