My microwaves newish, I use to have a microwave that made the tv reception fuzzy anytime you turned it on

Before it died, a 46 year microwave. had a glass plate, it was big and bulky as well, but held up really well. It was an actual microwave by the definition of what we have these days.

Up until last year my father had kept his microwave from the early 80’s.

I think it was like 35 years old or so.

Worked fine until it didn’t one day.

The one I got now is fairly new though. The other one started making the glass "plate" jump so badly I was worried it would shatter (or topple over stuff inside it)

Nothing surprising, they didn`t have corporate policy of building stuff that is guaranteed to break right after warranty ends back then.
