no, if you download a mod for counter-strike on gamebanana you're guaranteed to get either keyloggers or GPU fryers, some mods can reset your cmos, some mods will go "watch out bro" and straight up flash your bios

I just got one, it hasnt done anything wrong. Everything is working perfectly, though I am gonna delete it just in case it does have key loggers.

It usually is. They bought out a lot of CS and other FPS sites. I think it's a corporate run website now.

the mods ive used from gamebanana have been perfectly safe. i haven't had any issues. i wouldn't put it past me that there are some malicious mods on there though.

As with any other site tbh. Always stick to the more popular ones (or most popular one at the moment, if you’re worried about being out of date)
