I truly believe in the event of a nuclear exchange, hundreds of millions of people will die at first with billions dying within the first year or so. Not only from the bombs themselves but from radiation and injury. And hundreds of millions will die from starvation within the first year or so due to lack of food and clean water but the human race will live on.

Remember people fighting for toilet paper during covid, after a nuclear war, people will be fighting over food, water, clothes, resources and this time they be no one to step in, you be on your own. In the states at least you got access to firearms to defend yourself.

Talking about vault-tec.... I read alot of fallout lore and I truly believe in the event of TOTAL nuclear war, the events of fallout games would play true.... let me explain.

I will discount ghouls, super mutants, scorched and gaint sized ants etc as these are just for pure entertainment purposes for the game.

But the breakdown and collapse of society would be a real thing, law and order would totally break down, desertion from the military would be rife, people would rob and kill each other. And I also truly believe we would divide ourselves based on the colour of our skin, race and religion in different groups that will end up fighting each other.

At least it's a level playing field when guns are involved, this gives the weak a fighting chance. Without weapons, it's usually the strongest and toughest who would win through physical strength.

There is no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nuclear winter. Even if all the nukes in the world detonated, it would not be enough. Do you have any idea how big the planet is? Some firecrackers are not going to do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and that's what nukes are at planetary scale: firecrackers.
