How to shrink a leather jacket?

I bought a new leather jacket, and the sleeves are a bit too long. It's new enough to where I haven't washed it or anything so I know that would help when I do, but what is the best way that I can focus on the sleeves of the jacket?

Take it to a tailor who knows how to work with leather and have them shorten the sleeves for you.

take a nap in it so it gets sweaty, then leave it in the sun for a bit.
