when you look in any american city or those who are taken over by america.. they all look the same.
and it's all a car centic helhole place to live.
and certain other habits also are national.. like not that healthy diets, generally being overly polight and obnoxious at the same time, and being quite self centered (on many levelks, usa is the world, my state is the world, my family is the world, etc)
besides that central style.. there basicly are 12 different america's
different groups of settlers have settles the usa at dfferent types.
from strick english puritains, to hard working gerans, to former slaves, to catholic irish to former mexicans, to italians..
and within usa also there have developed regional cultures.. like city and farmland, and regions like the rustbucket or silicon valley.. and if you have a large region build around a thing.., with many people decended from mostly 1 group of people.. that will lead to another culture than those in another.
a lot more americans do not even speak english (used to be more.. but the large amount with german decend.. kind of dropped their german with ww2 and all) but spanish speaking americans and not just recent immigrants but those decending from those states annexed from mexico and were already living there.. still are a considerable percentage.
in a way this is not unlike how it is in europe.. where while you clearly can have an idea when you say "an european""
there IS a clear difference between a person from the balcans, the slavic east, the baltics, the nordics, the english isles, central europe, south europe.. norther europe..
even if they all spoke the same language.. and all borders were scrapped..
tthe fact they have different economies, and different geografic regions, different relgions, different language groups, different economic mindsets and different looks all influence their different cultures...
you may not as strongly divide germany from netherlands or belgioum.. but you would sense that somehere you would be in a totally different nation.. even if we had no borders and mostly (but not totally) spoke the same language..
so it is in america..
The is 100 percent what we are like. Totally. Yup. Its real guys I swear.
Also ignoring the Atlantic Slave Trade.
Also, you’re ignoring the fact that the Irish and Germans specifically encountered hate to the point that they assimilated.
I'm not ignoring any of those groups, I said "mostly". And slaves weren't American citizens, they were slaves. Encountering hate or not is an issue that is irrelevant to this topic, which is why I didn't mention it.
Please stop trying to start an unnecessary argument with me. That's why I get tired of Off-Topic.
But I'm not giving up the fight, and I'm not going away.
Bigotry isn't human, and the planet can't continue to function with it, so it's time for the these people to either get their ♥♥♥♥ together, or go.
