I gave up on TWD not long after Glen died. It just got boring and repetitive. It was a build up for 8 hours and then you got some quick two hour story. The entire seasons became something that should have been a show or two.

I looked at buying the seasons and getting caught up, but they never go on sale and there's just so much crap at this point. And why does Netflix have a TWD monopoly on the main series FFS?

I stopped watching the original series sometime during the whisperers arc. I did see a trailer for this spin-off and Daryl's series. Haven't watched any yet, but out of all TWD things these do sound promising.

It's just a show to wrap up some stuff for the fans. It's gonna be like 6 episodes or so. He found Michonne already in episode 1.

Just finished watching first episode of this, a couple of hours ago. It was decent, a couple of surprising plot twists already. I could do without the dream sequences however.

I actually don't care all that much about Rick or Michonne, but am more interested in what happens to Jadis, and the Civic Republic in general.

I'm waiting for the Spin-Off where the cast from TWD gets lost and comes across a clan of inbred Appalachians that... well... you know... the whole "Squeal like a pig" thing. So, then they'd have to try to weaponize a zombie migration horde to free their friends, but the zombies won't go anywhere near the Clan's territory. 'Cause,... you know... the whole "Squeal like a pig" thing. That's when they discover that zombies know fear.
