Flowers are blooming in antartica 💀
Ice is meeting, we are heating up our planet.
Polar bears losing their home. They will go to extinction soon.
I just feel sad and depressed about all harm we do to other animals. Earth will be piece of trash in 40 years . Turtle is eating plastic bag instead thinking its another fish .
Humans r selfish and not caring about others .
Also a river my parents used to swim in 15 y ago dried up .. life is just getting worse and tbh i feel depressed about it .
Do you believe in global warming or not?

Its amazing the West shut down all its power stations to please China and have an endless supply of cheap low-quality goods.

Its amazing the West are the biggest hypocrites on the planet too. They rage, scream, and cry on the floor like children over Israel kicking Hama's a$$ in, yet the Chinese are actively waging genocide on Uyghur Muslims and no one, especially not other Muslims living in the West, give two s**ts.

As far as morality goes, the West is bankrupt.

The west has raised this but there is nothing the west can do to China.

You go to China and protest.

Putting aside the fact that China is authoritarian with different form of governance, they've done tremendous job at transitioning their economy and reducing pollution. Especially when you consider that the whole success story of China is based on pollution, essentially. China is the leading manufacturer in green technology and solutions, which I don't say happily. In fact, I would like to see the West stepping up asap. Biden has made some great investments in green industries that Trump never would have so there's that much.
Ah yes, all that smog in China truly shows all their green energy...

Remember, those emissions are the ones Europe exported to China when they moved production there so they could sit on their high horses and claim they reduced theirs while looking down on China where it increased.

quote=Thadeus;4337600100424497665]Sounds like humans are an environmental hazard that animals will have to adapt to or disappear.

Animals disappear all the time and not really as the fault of humanity, but other animals take their place, it's the CIRCLE OF LIIIIIIIIFE!!

And btw, if you truly want to change minds, start with China and India - the world's biggest poluters and who also give one single dead rat's ass about the environment.

I don't see why the West should weaken itself economically by caring for the environment when the effort is futile as long as the biggest polluters continue to pollute without a care in the world. [/quote]
True , and indians live with rats and treat them as holy beings while all trash is around ..

Well, even better to change minds is honesty, which alarmists apparently lack when they're taking photos of Greenland and calling it Antarctica. Or telling us polar bears are going extinct when they're not. Or telling people predictable weather patterns and known weather phenomena which has been documented and followed for hundreds of years is suddenly climate change. They're just so damn dishonest that nobody who isn't too stricken with fear from the nonsense they spit out simply can't trust them. It's one lie after another. A bunch of Jussie Smollets.
They make money from fake documentaires by selling them or sharings ads revenue.

Yeah, case in point how the person I responded to complaining about a hot summer last year didn't understand what ENSO is. They taught about it in the 90's, they don't teach about it now. Knowing what it is explains too much of the stuff they attempt to accuse humans of. But while my friend in western Canada was getting cooked where he lives because of it, it never got above 70 degrees where I am at which is unusually cold, as ENSO shifted the pattern of the polar winds over the summer, and i got the cold air other people were expecting, which left them hot and dry.
But enso happens only on pacific not mediterranean ? And how does that explain hot weather without clouds where you want to be nak3d and still feel hot? I was said that it was c02 that was stuck and just runing over the same spot . (Heat wave)

Also true . Dollar is just illusion made by usa to control the world economy and maintain africans poor. (Educational only i dont support dollar currency killers) .

There is no point in arguing with people who think evolution says we came from monkeys. There is no point in arguing with people who don't believe the earth is warming due to man made emissions.
Actually all animals came from a fish.

Uh huh, and what will make the areas on the equator unlivable?

Mostly heat, and perhaps lots of rain/monsoon. Specially the heat. It will be unbearable to live in cities for example. Airco won't work cause you dump the heat outside and it will be even warmer. The people around there will emigrate to colder regions, and so on we will likely see a huge migration period we never experienced before. People native to Europe will likely also migrate to habitats they are adapted for, and new habitats that are then better liveable.

Australia has colder and warmer regions so the effects won't be the same everywhere. It has been estimated that three (major) regions in Australia will become unhabitable during our lifetime because of climate change. Namely Darwin, Broome and Port Hedland. So the north-west part will be mostly affected.

Elderly people and people with low tolerance for hot temperatures will be at risk first.

Thank you so much. Gained new insight. Area's like Perth, Melbourne, Tazmania, etc will probaby be sort of fine. Yes. New Zealand will be a little warmer than regulary. Maybe as warm as France / Spain. Will see how it goes.
Tbh France was also hot on heat wave . I was sweating too much, (i used plane to get there and that travel only could cost minus big ice piece 😢
It all started on 20 century when oil was discovered .

That's not the point. The point is that it used to be worse.

Especially after the COVID crisis the economies saw boosts in green transformation, including in countries like China.

Transformation itself is a process that doesn't happen overnight.

Enso effects are felt globally. The trade winds pass over the entire globe. The effect is more noticeable in the Pacific, but that also disrupts other wind paterns, and shifts the polar winds as well. I live on the Atlantic side of the US, and had an unusually cold summer because the polar winds which usually go around my region were blowing straight through.

As for your "green" energies, I'd like you to look up what a lithium mine looks like, and tell me with a straight face that you want more of that rather than it getting warmer, you know, even if humans were the ones responsible for global warming.

Ozone molecules are highly effective at absorbing UV rays, particularly the harmful ones.
It's not just high in the atmosphere, it happens anywhere where there is an intense UV radiation collecting. It happens on ground level, near major cities, especially those in deserts. People used to call it "smog" and attempt to attribute ground level ozone production to dirty fossil fuels, which it wasn't. But you googled it, you know it comes from oxygen and nitrogen under intense UV radiation. So let me ask you a question, which part of the planet do you think gets the least amount of UV radiation? Which part of the planet does the sun reach the least?
This is true, but ozone production is mediated by catalysts, as is its decomposition (by other catalysts). There's no need to guess: you find NO in cities and ClO at the Antarctic stratosphere. You find smog in cities and you only find the ozone hole during the Antarctic's spring; not in the winter, as you have postulated.

Because you're not going to eliminate it. You're never going to eliminate it. All you've done with regulations is allow them to sell the same gallon of gasoline that would have cost a dollar ten years ago for 5x that amount today. They're making record profits because people like you aided in making their product more valuable.

Just four oil companies earned $1 trillion in profits in 2022. They thank you for your service in helping to make that possible.
"Regulations" have made the United States the largest energy producer in the globe, and put global gasoline production at its all-time record in 2022.... I want to live wherever you do, that ever had sub-$1 gasoline.

It is strange to argue against government intervention when you don't believe in a supply-demand curve. It's not usually possible to get richer by selling less gasoline: above a certain price, gross demand for gasoline drops more than the per-unit profit makes.

If gas is more expensive than switching to an electric car.....

Secondly, we've heard the claim that ecosystems can't adapt. Polar bears are going extinct right? Yet, their numbers are growing quite rapidly. So something isn't quite adding up there with the people screaming that ecosystems aren't adapting to the naturally occurring cycles. Clearly, they are.
Ecosystems do adapt, but not necessarily with the same inhabitants. Same story for human history. Don't seem like a fan of open borders, yourself.
The climate is always changing, to believe that we are the sole contributors is narcissism on a literal global scale. I will take it seriously when the elites give up their private planes and thouses on the properties they swear will flood in the next x years.

Isnt that from excess co2? Or happens once a while? Believe me I wish I died than live whole life like that. Even fridge could hardly keep drinks cold.

There have never been more polar bears than we have at the moment, in fact there are so many they have become a plague to the urban areas for they rather eat garbage then go hunting.
