Wrong. Canada has much stricter gun laws than the USA. There also isn't a gun culture. Most people want nothing to do with them.
The result: One of the safest countries in the world.
Of course that isn't claiming people are unable to kill without guns but it would be significantly harder.

Let's be honest.
It's not as good as the most advanced and developed superpower in the world ought to have. And this is one of those areas where I think the criticism towards the (overall) American system is legitimate.
