I didn't count the US because it's too diverse so regardless of gun laws there will be crime.

Wrong. Canada has much stricter gun laws than the USA. There also isn't a gun culture. Most people want nothing to do with them.

The result: One of the safest countries in the world.

Yeah, sure, let's see how many people a wacko can kill without a gun. Guns maximize a (crazy) person's killing potential. Anyone can pick up a gun and effortlessly mow down dozens of people. Yeah.. someone implying that a physically weak young school shooter could've killed 20+ people in few minutes without carrying a firearm is honestly being extremely dishonest to themselves and others.

Of course that isn't claiming people are unable to kill without guns but it would be significantly harder.

Fun fact but Japan has one of the strictest gun laws and it’s one of the safest countries in the world.

But!!! Just because it works for 1 country doesn’t mean it will work with other countries.

Guns are okay but gun culture is very silly at the extreme end of it. I don't mind folk who recognise that silliness and have a sense of humour about it, but I strongly dislike people who can't see it and insist that the only route to a free and equal society is for absolutely everyone to own a firearm. Actually, as guns are only tools, the only route to a free and equal society is for everyone to own a wrench. Trust me, that's less dangerous for you than me owning a firearm (I am a very bad shot)

But!!! Just because it works for 1 country doesn’t mean it will work with other countries.

Copying the entire solution as it is, may not work in another country. I agree with that. But usually it indicates that complete 180 isn't a solution to the same problem. So more guns doesn't result in safety.

Is anyone in the US satisfied with the safety index rating of US in global rankings?
Let's be honest.
It's not as good as the most advanced and developed superpower in the world ought to have. And this is one of those areas where I think the criticism towards the (overall) American system is legitimate.
