Europe is a joke.
Yeah, what exactly do we do in Europe other than live on past glories like "ohhh we're so old, we have so much old stuff, suck it America", implement nonsensical regulations like non-removable bottle caps (because people who throw away plastic bottles totally throw away only the bottle cap and then politely dispose of the bottle itself) and then act like we're saving the entire world by doing that crap.

For example, Germany was just like "hey, let's ban coal power plants" despite it obviously being such a stupid idea that I still remember I was replaying Half-Life 2, specifically at Chapter 8 and in the cave where you get and learn to use the Pheropods when I overheard that nonsense on the news. Then, when it turned out to be a completely stupid idea (no way, I totally couldn't have seen that one coming), they were just like "oops, maybe coal power plants weren't so bad after all" and just brought them back. What an absolute joke. Not to mention how they had no heating in Winter because of sanctions against Russia that were imposed by... well... Europe. Amazing. And the result of those sanctions? We pretty much just screwed ourselves over because we rely on them while Russia was actually profiting off the whole thing... And now this is supposed to be some kind of a prestigious superpower. Like I said, amazing.

Another brilliant thing I recently heard is the EU complaining about how, watch this, Chinese cars are "unfairly cheap" and wanting to stop that for that very reason. Yeah, that's what Europe turned into. Instead of actually doing what they do and competing with them (you know, freedom, free market and all that), Europe just complains about how it's "unfairly cheap" and tries to impose even more stupid regulations.

Honestly, I don't know what else to add. You get the idea, I guess.

By the way, as someone who is known to be... I guess you could say not exactly the biggest fan of China, because of their government, just take a look at China for a second:

So... yeah. This speaks for itself. Sure, not all of China looks like this, but as you can see, it's developing insanely quickly and already looks like some futuristic alien world. And now see how pretentious Europe is doing in comparison, also how much we love talk ♥♥♥♥ about America since forever, despite the fact that they're the most powerful and the most influential country in the world which achieved all that in no time. And what have we got in Europe?

I never said otherwise. Croatia has no opportunity and I would say it sucks for a number of reasons, but it's still not a third world country. I really don't get this completely uncalled for personal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, especially when it isn't even the topic of the thread. How do you even know where I've been, what I'd think about other places and why exactly I dislike it in Croatia specifically, although I've never mentioned that or moving out in my original post? What a load of uncalled for ♥♥♥♥.

To be honest you are from Croatia, you have been living on the past glories of 3 or 4 european countries that have nothing to do with your culture or history.

Yeah, I know. We only destroyed the ancient Greek and Roman ruins when we settled in here, yet now we're so "proud" of "our" history, "ha ha, suck it Americans, we have much older stuff than you" and what not. However, this kind of attitude is definitely a European thing in general. Always Americans this, Americans that. I mean, the EU is already worried about Chinese cars taking over because they're starting to offer more (or the same) for less than what we have, then Chinese phones and other technology is getting increasingly popular and quality (no more of those "made in China" jokes) and also for the lowest prices and so on and so on. America still has iPhones, Android, Windows, Google and tons of things I could go on about all night. Again, what has Europe got? Yeah, we still have regular car brands (feels like those won't make sense anymore soon) and some prestigious ones which should remain around, as well as some overpriced clothing brands that I won't advertise.

Of course, but I'm not talking about that right now. Trust me, you don't need to tell me about their government's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Germany is quite a bad example because we (Germans) have the worst government since the end of WW2, literally everything they do is designed to destroy our economy and life quality, which explains why they were not voted by the majority in the first place but only got into power due to creating a coalition amongst parties voted by the minority.

Everything else you complained about is based on nothing but personal assumptions and some individuals you met, most likely even in your own country not abroad in other EU nations.

Not sure if I understand the purpose of your thread or rather the intention.
What are you trying to say?

That Europe or rather the EU is it not as perfect as it claims to be?
I mean, who claims it is ?

I never met anyone who supports all the nonsense going on right now and most EUropeans are critical about EU governments and what they do, in fact I don't know any EU citizen who doesn't have major complaints about their government, let it be Spain, Germany, France, Belgium or who or whatever.

All I can say is, keep looking for the perfect place, it doesn't exist.

Most of the time, EU countries have similar if not the same issues as most other western countries such as the US, just to different extend and with different topics having a different priority. Not saying all countries are the same no, they are not ! But basically, it sucks everywhere.

As a French person I have more in common with someone from la Reunion which is in the indian ocean or Guyane which is in South America than someone who lives next to my country in Europe like Croatia.
it was true before UE

now ???

maybe swiss, norway, uk, serbia vs UE ?

but currently if you try to say no to UE they go to punish you

Because I can recognize things that others cannot. ,-)

And I agree, the dude has numerous alt- accounts and basically everyone knows that. He is on my block list for a reason

So the EU made sense as a federation of states. It has been dead ever since free immigration came along. Dissolve it, it's finished.

If you think that, you have clearly never lived outside of Europe for a prolonged amount of time.

I have and I can guarantee that it does mean something and that you only understand what " home " actually means, when you did live abroad, ideally another continent.

Anyone who claims otherwise, has never lived abroad for a long time.

I have lived in Morocco for two years, it just made me feel more french, not european.

French is basically European.
If after 2 years of Morocco you would have moved to lets say Italy, Spain or even Norway, you would feel a lot more at home than in Morocco (unless you are an actual Moroccan or have some family history there).

Not sure if you are intentionally disagree just to disagree or if this is seriously your believe.

I travelled the world quite a lot and lived abroad for long periods of time. If you live in for example Thailand or Vietnam for a few years and then after this period of time, set foot in Netherlands or Belgium again even though you are French or German or what not, you will immediately feel at home. Its a feeling and experience I can't even describe, its something you experience.

Probably things nobody can. Because if i´m not totally schizophrenic, i´d say i would never open a second account, as i don´t know what the use of it should be. It took me a long while to open this account, as i don´t like the concept of having accounts and remembering all the names and passwords.

Ah - Lappen is also here. Nice. Nice. And the block function works super great it seems. I have asked in Your other troll thread if You received the message, but haven´t heard anything from You yet, as apparently being on Your block list doesn´t prevent You from replying, or reporting my comments.

Often when people are so attached to this concept of EU it's because they are from a country that does poorly on it's own. The EU was expanded to basically become a charity for eastern European countries after the fall of USSR. The EU is just a sort of influence on countries we never heard of at the expense of our budget. This is the reason why the UK has left the EU, all it does is take from bigger countries to redistribute to countries we have never heard of when we live in France or UK.

Then culturally, we really don't have anything in common, when you say you are european what does it mean? You can be from 44 different countries, that doesn't say anything. This is why I don't identify with the terms Europe, European, EU.

Completely delusional.

Completely delusional.

Delusional is to turn independent nations after two thousand years of history in to a multicultural turd in which nobody wants to live anymore.

I agree.

But its even more delusional to claim us Europeans have nothing in common and because of a mentality like this, Europeans often don't stand together as they should.

We would not have the problem of mass-immigration if us Europeans would be a little more steadfast, but now look at Germany, the country is literally not Germany anymore.

I live in Germany and I can't even leave my house anymore without pepperspray due to the risk of getting stabbed by doctors, engineers and architects.
