Germany is legalizing Marijuana
German lawmakers have voted to approve legislation that will federally legalize a limited amount of recreational cannabis.

This is a milestone as it makes Germany the third European Union member state to legalize cannabis for personal use, following Malta and Luxembourg.
The legislation allows adults in Germany to possess and use cannabis, as well as grow it at home.
This will become effective on April 1, 2024.

Remember the DARE program?

Sure was fun being lectured on right and wrong by Nancy Reagan and Barbra Bush, with a curriculum devised by the 1992 LAPD pigs.

I remember the cops coming in the room and opening up that black briefcase with the "drugs" displayed inside. Their "weed" consisted of a fully intact and still bright green marijuana leaf! ahahahahahahaha!
Even as a kid I felt I learned nothing. It was probably a year later I smoked my first joint.

Yes, but particularly in weed as it dramatically raises BP and HR.

Its therefore not safe and should be banned from consumption.
Not anymore dramatically than caffeine or most other stimulates that are already medically approved for consumption.

Actually, a lot more dramatically, lol. Inform yourself.

Cholesterol raises BP too. Should we ban red meats?

No, because weed raises it DRAMATICALLY within a short period of time.,

Can’t say I’ve ever experience dramatic raises in my BP while smoking. Do you have a source for this? I’d like to read it.

I smoke weed before going to my Dr. And they always say my BP is perfect.

Did you measure your BP while smoking ?

If you would truly want to educate yourself, you could have easily researched this online

If I were a politician I'd want all the drugs legalized too.

People who are under the influence are less likely to realize what is going on around them and in turn less likely to pay attention to what their politicians are doing and more importantly listening to everything they say and believing it.

If you believe everything they say you deserve to be lied to. Just ask all the people who believed Adam Schiff. The sad part is some people actually still believe him after showing no proof of his words.

How do I know this? I smoked marijuana when I almost 30 years ago and I know the effects it had on me.

A drugged up country = easier for politicians to fool the masses.

If your body can't tolerate it, you die.
Omg honestly. You never heard of people recovering from overdoses? Going to rehab after overdoses, etc? It is common knowledge that overdoses don't necessarily mean you die.
When you're overdosing, you need something to remove or stop the drug that is causing the overdose.

If someone has already overdosed(past tense) it means that no such action was taken. The end is death.

And yet one of the reasons for banning stuff in the first place was people loosing respect for government and refusing the draft.

I appreciate the source. You made a claim and I want to read the source material. It has nothing to do with educating myself.

Smoking anything, is not good for you and probably would increase BP. I don’t doubt that. To what extent and how it was measured was my main curiosity. I’ll read over the articles.

As I said before, marijuana isn’t harmless. It’s also not the boogie man a lot of people make it out to be either.

I’ve been a user for a long time and I do know that I’m a lot healthier than some straight edge people I know.

Almost like every body is different.

I respect your decision to not smoke and I wouldn’t try to convince or force you to partake.

Making others not because you won’t is poor form though. Imagine if I started kicking down the doors of my neighbors who drink and started slapping the booze out of their hands.

That’d be kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, even though drinking is/can be bad for you.

If you notice the study you are citing explains that more research needs to be done before anything conclusive can be said.

That's why it always says "appears". It wasn't a direct study but a culmination of data gathered and reviewed. Which muddies the results and conclusions a lot since they don't know every factor that could contribute.

Why are you consuming dangerous drugs and try to advocate for people to do so as well ?

Medical intervention is needed to stop an overdose. You can't recover from an overdose on your own you need some kind of intervention from someone like them to administrate narcan nasal spray. A person overdosing can not give themselves the narcan.

I personally recovered from a weed overdose on my own, my friends helped me and carried me but then I recovered on my own.
No you didn't. You overdosed on what it was laced with not the weed. You also said cocaine is safer then cigarettes and booze.

It wasn't already decriminalized?

It's weird when you realize that Bible-belt US states are more progressive and open-minded than Germany.
