Sadly, human rights are too much intertwined into law that hinders any form of crackdowns to make any western nation great again. To fix the crack and heroin epidemic and to fix the illegal mass immigration would mean having concentration camps / detention camps to house and forcibly hold and treat drug addicts and also forcibly hold migrants seeking asylum. This wouldn't go down well in any western country especially germany.
I also feel democracies can no longer or is unable fix problems such as the rising costs of living, awful school system and poor infrastructures. Too many are against such moves especially the people in power because it would lose votes. To fix many issues listed, you need a strong nationalistic dictator and we don't want to go down that road agian.
One of my 80 neighbour's get's CBD at the hemp shop for her tinnitus
...and they say weed isn't addictive...
Also if it´s about that - Switzerland basically showed that legalizing it all, and having the health care to support it solves the problem pretty good.
And for the other problems - it´s not that it would be super hard to fix, but money is spent for the wrong things, and oftentimes totally ineffective. And instead of reworking the systems, there are ever more solutions which solve problems, which wouldn´t need to be there to begin with. You don´t need a dictator for it - it would be enough if the actual politicians would work out good solutions together - instead of talking against each other to get votes for their parties. And for the actual government - i´d already kicked out the liberals - and i´m unsure why there needs to be a coalition to begin with, when any party can participate. There so much time wasted on useless talk which benefits nobody except the politicians.
It`s not that weed is so addictive, it`s as simple as an addict is an addict.
As a french I see this as a good thing ... At least they will not be in shape to invade us the next time they'll feel like it. Don't gonna complain about that.
Some stereotypes...
French = Wine and eating to much garlic and onions
Italians = Wine, shouting and talking with their hands
Brit = Beer, tattoos and hooliganism
Russians = Volka and bear fighting while swimming in a frozen lake
Sweds = Walking around nude and eating surstromming
If there is a market for literally anything then it should be legalised and taxed rather than supporting black markets, crime and corruption. legalise and regulate, sometimes I feel like religious conservatives are the bane of capitalism without even knowing it.

Both a addicts and both will be losing brain cells but the crackhead will rob his granny of her false teeth to sell on the black market.
