Which Zombie Army - game should I play?

Dear Steam Community,
I am a big fan of Left 4 Dead and Wolfenstein, so I think Zombie Army is the right game for me.
But which part should I play?
Zombie Army -Trilogy, Zombie Army 4…?
Also what DLCs should I buy(I try to buy all DLCs if I really like the game, so maybe I will buy all of them if Im sure its the right game)

trilogy didnt age well.. u better go 4.. tho dont expect too much from those games, they are fun and easy and lack bigger difficulty

Nevertheless I want to ask about the DLCs.
They cost all together 153€.
Are they worth it?

Overall Trilogy got more levels, thus more plausible replay value (plus no DLC's AFAIK). 4 Might have more gameplay improvements tho?

I say trilogy now, and wait for the sale on the 4 + dlc bundle @75% off the whole kit - yes I am cheap...

Definitely the Trilogy.
Lot of content with those, very much worth playing especially around halloween.

Trilogy is possibly less frustrating. (And gets you more overall content).

There's a bridge control/defence bit in 4 that's darn near impossible outside of co-op that might drive you batty if you play single player.

I was thinking Trilogy too due to the variety of campaigns. Interesting game (using a sniper against a hoard).

Side note: Back 4 Blood would have been my recommendation. I think there are a few others similar to The Strange Brigade (OP has that game already). World War Z is a fun one (and hard to solo).

the third is garbage and other titles also don't reach like da F is going on ???

hard to match the feeling making it across the bridge while your team gets f-ed :D

it's all about core design and u need sum1 with brains to do it ;)
