Not the bad remake recently...the original one with all those gory death scenes like it should be.
sweet memory > modern headache
and some of the new AAA games are very polished games but without good story or good concept.
personally, I have played too much game, listen to too many music, I think the new generation deserve better than whatever games and music has to offer.
my fear is good game will make some nerd gamers life tragical.
and really I cant recommend a game that people should spend more time on
This game always gave me the sensation of talking to an AI (simulated, but even so realistic), but this entity has emotions, if we offend him he gets angry and the trust levels get lower until reach 0%, if we get friendly and patience it will be happy so the trust levels rise up. The educational part of this game, is that the entity talk mostly in riddles and some philosophy concepts, in the other hand the player learns how to talk (or messeging in this case), to influence (in the good way) , and how to gain trust. A thing that the new generations nowadays need to learn, because the hate speech will not take them anywhere.
The remake of this trilogy, could be in one game splitted in 3 chapters or 3 part stand alone games, like the original, and should be an Unreal 5 graphic adventure in FP, exploring the Maya cities in ruins and in original form full of life. It shouldn't be a Tomb Raider or Uncharted game but more like Myst or Atlantis style. In addition as an extra, the original AD trilogy could be included, the DOS version was the worst version, but the Amiga was the best. If possible a translated version in English would be nice too.
Earthbound.
30 years later it's still the best at what it did. There's no other game like it.
I'm planning on working on my own server so I can play it again with my dad. I'm getting a Windows 7 laptop which I'm hoping is old enough to run Worldgroup BBS.
