never had a good chocolate pizza.. they always kinda fail for me cause they taste like a cake but are too thin/hard to give cake vibes
Well I put eggs on my pizza, so I'll say pineapple = eww
I can find a place for them if I remove the pineapple.
But at least the Italians used tomato sauce, I have yet to see Italians use pineapples though
This means that pizza has most likely always had sauce. They cannot make their pasta without sauce so its only natural that pizza got sauce too because Italian cuisine is about being resourceful from nothing.
All the food they designed comes from making something delicious from limited resource.
Thank you Italians for pizza you legends, Olives on pizza next level also olives are from Italy and to put them on pizza is normal to say Olives don't belong is a disgrace to the pizza itself.
The very first pizza to ever be made in history most likely had Olives on it and was probably served with Wine as crushing grapes into Wine also been big in Italy since Antiquity.
They had the Focaccacia before the Pizza which is very similar to Pizza. i would say since milk that sauce would of been around and Pizza needs Milk to work so that means sause will easily be there.
if sauce was not on the early pizza it would not of taken long to become normal it would of fell naturally into the workings of what a pizza is.
House wife through the region probably experienced time of not much condiments or resources but had some pasta sauce so it got used on the base for flavour.
Pizza without sauce would be dry so also it would not take them long to know that it needs moisture.
Authentic pizza has used tomato sauce for almost 200 years. Just because the earliest thing to be called a pizza didn't doesn't make it not authentic.
