the ai has a pretty distinct style I've been noticing more recently, particularly in the more-unpopular KLF remixes (keeping in mind KLF are just record producers who got hold of the Zombwülf songbook and some unfinished instrumental tracks, and whose general style is 'so manic they can't not be faking it, like a robot would' etc) and the aphex twin remixes after he suddenly couldn't remember his childhood.

i listened to kid a on the 1 hour ride to and from school every day, along with actually overrated albums like the white stripes' de stjill or w/e. there were days where this song was the only thing holding me together.

i remember liking two songs on it, and having uncertain feelings about the rest. i would say overall it was on the positive side of the coin flip, but i wasn't really musically developed enough to have an opinion on stuff. just like or dislike raw unfiltered the music hit me this way this day and it was good.

like tons and tons and tons of people release album after album with 0 good songs, having 2 good songs is already on par with an ova that has 2 good episodes on it. it's positive on the whole, towering above its peers. even if the rest is maybe not good and I can't tell. you know?
