I like all of them I really like Pertwee's just wish the sound guys would stop with all the 'specialy effects sounds' and let his acting and personality dominate the scenes.

Sylvester McCoy I liked his portrayal. He became a favourite actor for me after that.

Tom Baker had that wild edged yet upper class touch to him that I love.

Then Eccleston and Tennant took the Doctor in another direction of story type.

Capaldi has that desperate mad men look and older Tom Baker variant perhaps.

But then you get Matt Smith.

Funny because some say the opposite is true. In the movie he's human but alien time lord in TV show. I think David Tennant was the one who asked that Dr. Who be replaced with "The Doctor" in the credits.
