Most likely a free weekend.
Blizzard should have stopped at D2. They're just trying miserably to redeem themselves from all the shameful decisions of the past year.

"try diablo 4 for a limited time"
it's just free weekend
50 hours played.
Still having fun playing D3.
Never pre-ordering or even buying new, ever again. Not unless it's a 50% or more discount. Not from any developer in existence. I don't trust any of them, any longer.
Not after this.
Not after Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
Not after the GTA Trilogy remasters.
Not after AC:Valhalla.
Not after Starfield.
AA or Indie for me, and any new game I can wait five years to play when it's free on Epic or 90% off on Steam. Not that I would buy any of the above games for even 90% off, in hindsight. Even with that discount, the money-hours played ratio wouldn't be worth it.
I'll stick with sub $10 games like Soulstone Survivors and get hundreds of hours per dollar spent, instead.
