Are there any MMORPG's with botting (as a feature?)
I played MajorMUD for a long time and that had a client that let you automate gameplay. Your characters could loop through dungeons, collect loot and gold, and gain levels while you were at work, or sleeping, and you could check back occasionally to monitor their progress, or move them somewhere else, or play manually if that's what you wanted to do.

It let players join guilds, do quests together, PvP, even had guild houses where you could store your stuff, but you could also raid other guild's houses to take their stuff.

I see a few idle MMO's on Steam but not anything near as sophisticated as MajorMUD. Like most of the old school MUD's it had over a dozen races, over a dozen classes, hundreds of spells, and thousands of items you could use.

I've tried IdleOn, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I'd like to see a 3D MMORPG that gives botting tools to the players and expects them to use them.

Anyone know of anything close?

I'm checking out Granado Espada. I hear it has an AFK leveling system. I'm hoping I can watch my character run around and kill things on their own.

Was just going to drop the exact title, as that is the only one I've seen it impemented. Mostly it is either not implemented or illegal.

I gave it a solid try. I really wanted to like it, but the UI is terrible.

They don't have WASD movement.

I couldn't find a shortcut to open my inventory. The first quest NPC gives you 3 medals, one for each character. It automatically opens your inventory and I put the first medal on my main character. But I had to open the keybind menu to learn that F1, F2, and F3 select your 3 different characters. Then I couldn't figure out how to open my inventory again.

It's click to move only, and has more keybinds than X3, which until now was the worst game I have ever seen when it came to having way, way too many keybinds.

I just can't. I want a AFK MMORPG so I can relax. It shouldn't be this frustrating to play.

Isn't that feature only for mobile games 🤔

I have not tried either of these, but I believe Black Desert Online and Runescape both have elements that are AFK or at least low-attention.

I nearly said Granado Espada as well but I see you found that one. Game is kind of clunky, which is too bad because the setting is really cool.

MajorMUD was a PC game from the 90's played on BBS over dial-up. It predated MMORPG's. Botting shouldn't be a crime it should be a feature like it was in the old days.

With the rise of so many idling games I am surprised there aren't any good MMORPG's that let you bot and provide the tools for it.

I liked the art style and the Renaissance style clothing and weapons. It looks like it let you collect party members like pokemon, so exploring the world let you recruit different characters for your party? That must have been fun.

But good lord that UI.
