what was the point of grouping intersex people in? not like they can control their genitals
Did Peru say that is what they are doing? Or is it something you would like to believe Peru is doing?
Nah peoples lied on this bit specifically online, Peru Backpedalled on all the trans stuff anyways.

again, the only "proof" of that comes from a discredited organization that never released the actual test results, which had the motivation to lie about them
if you want to scrutinize imane, be my guest; but at least be consistent and scrutinize angela too

I'm not sure who Angela even is, didn't Imane actually had high level of testosterone during her puberty? While i think that suck to disqualify peoples from competition for no fault of their own i don't really know where her physical structure exactly lie but she certainly got some benefits to her biceps, the real question is what her phenotype is and can she then compete with mens or would that also be unfair? Like i really do get this situation is problematic.
angela carini, the italian boxer who was going to fight imane khleif

also, where did you even get that

just checked, nope
no mention of intersex people

though such legislation will likely affect them

she was the crybaby who surrendered after a single touch, likely on purpose to stirr up drama for her political party

Imane Khelif got Hyperandrogenia, meaning her testosterone is as high if not higher than several mens and she got disqualified from various competitions for it in the past, she just objectively have more muscular mass than the average woman can have.

It most likely won't. But even if it did, it should be a wake up call that the vast majority of people claiming to be transgender, which aren't even remotely close to intersex, attempting to appropriate it for their personal identities could have negative and lasting repercussions that might affect the small amount that actually are. So, if you actually cared about real intersex individuals, you should probably start taking issue with them being used as props to justify things that have nothing to do with them.

nobody's trying to appropriate intersex people

they're considered part of the lgbt community because they face very similar struggles, stemming from the same kinds of "reasoning"
the idea that they're somehow "broken", and need to be "corrected"— in this case, specifically through invasive surgeries done before the kid can even form conscious memories
it's a fight between social expectations and self-determination

So, you're not trying to appropriate their condition and attribute it to people who don't have it? Yet, you just went on to say by the very presence of their condition they belong to your little identity politics collective. Appropriating them is EXACTLY what you are doing.

i am merely pointing out the stark similarity in the struggles of intersex people and the rest of the queer community, and the similarities in the rhetoric used to justify those struggles

ultimately, i believe this is the common denominator of the lgbt community, the unwarranted struggles that come from the difference between who we are and what we're expected to be
Peru is a country i want to live.

You only further prove my point. You're trying to lump people who make a personal lifestyle choice in with people born with a condition they almost certainly don't want, and use the fact they exist as something the other group can point to to make excuses for all their actions and behavior. You claim by their very birth with that condition they should belong to your little political collective as well. Think like you. Vote like you. Want the same things you do, because you've decided that on their behalf.

You don't view them as individuals at all. The idea of them having free thought, free choice, likely offends you if any of them choose to think in any other way than what you've already determined is correct for them. And it's not just intersex people who get treated that way by the so-called tolerant left. Virtually every group with something they feel can be exploited for political gains gets treated the same way. The EXACT same condescending "we own you" mentality gets used on minorities and women too.

born with a condition they almost certainly don't want,
i think they should be able to come to a conclusion for themselves, instead of having endosex standards and a gender imposed onto them since before they can even think

no, i said we all share the same unwarranted struggles

no lol
again, i think they should be able to make their own decisions, rather than having a choice forced upon them
