Do you like the Nigersaurus?
Not a Dino person (comparing to your average Dino enjoyer out there...), but the Nigersaurus reminds me Aurorus even though he is based on a Amargasaurus, which is a different dino but still looks a cool Dino

Despite only making up 13% of the population…

They are extinct...

He's too old. It's time to move on.

He is a relevant Dino even to this day so no :steambored:
racial slur for black skinned people?

is this dinosaur named after that african country that's not likely to make it past the censoring?

Are you talking about that country that was named after a certain West African river?

one and the same.
Thats a spicy dino name, i like it :cleandino:

Well I'll be damned...also I love how the wiki page has a clarification area at the top noting the name is based off of the River where it was largely around; so clearly the Wiki lads have had their fair share of salty boys.

No, is a dino...
I don't know a lot about dinosaurs but I love the original Jurassic Park movie.
All sorts of dinosaurs fascinate me, especially the oddities and Nigersaurus is no exception. Being a sauropod, the largest group of land animals to ever exist, many if not most were absolutely massive creatures. Nigersaurus though was pretty small. Even smaller than an elephant.
Op tried to be edgy but went with a dull edge instead.

Yes i know it's a real dinosaur.

It's a cool movie, despite every single dinosaur being wrong, and largely so. Even when compared to the knowledge people had at the time. The director's of that movie took creative liberties for the sake of making them look scarier, and that's the biggest problem I had with it. They were animals, not monsters.
It's pronounced with a Ge.

Yeah, I don't know why anyone would have assumed anything else. It's a small sauropod from Nigeria. Just like Edmontosaurus is a large hadrosaur from Edmonton, or Albertosaurus is a large Tyrannosaurid from Alberta. Many dinosaurs just get named after where they are found, or after someone who found them.

Well to be honest, I thought maybe it was named after H.P. Lovecraft's cat.

I thought it was pretty large like Aurorus 🤔
