Arctis 1 not charging.
Steelseries Arctic 1 is not charging. I've had this headset for a super long time and it has always worked super well, but it has not been able to charge therefore I can't use the headset wireless because it has no charge, for a while now actually.

I have been using the Arctic 1 Wired for about a year now just because I kept telling myself ill go buy a new charger for the headset because I assumed the cord had broke, I got a new cord just a couple of hours ago.

Plugging the charger up to the headset to find out that the headset is still not charging, the indicator doesn't flash red or yellow or whatever color it's supposed to flash when charging, I've moved into every port on my PC and even have the steelseries program on my PC and the software detects the headset and changes from "Reconnect" and "Not Connected".

Discord also picks up the headset and asked me if I would like to change my main audio device as "Arctic 1 wireless". Whats weird is at one point of trying to get the headset to work the green indicator lit up on the headset so I assumed I had gotten it to work, I was wrong.

The headset then indicated the red light but NOT FLASHING, it then started flashing red for a few seconds, stopped and flashed again. I don't understand what I am doing wrong, Why cant I get the headset to charge OR turn on without being connected to the wire.

bluetooth headsets are the first wave of open planned obsolesence and denial.

until fairly recently, engineering defects could be blamed for anything. but designs and technology are slowly but surely obsoleting even that.

sounds insane but I put a drip of 91% Isopropyl Alcohol in mine to dissolve anything covering the connectors inside of the port itself and then plugged my charger in and boom charging like normal.
